Good ol’ Facebook. Whether you love it or loathe it, you can’t really ignore it if you’re in business – it’s become an essential part of the marketing landscape. The social media behemoth has made well over $100 billion from advertising in its relatively short lifetime, and while the jury’s still out on how Facebook’s earnings will be impacted by the pandemic in the long term, they’re offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to small businesses in selected cities (including Denver) to help them survive this challenging time. Facebook Small Business Grants Program | Boost with Facebook

Does Your Business Qualify?

Quite possibly. To be eligible to apply, your business must meet the following criteria:

  • Have between 2 and 50 employees
  • Have been in business for over a year
  • Have experienced challenges from COVID-19
  • Be in or near a location where Facebook operates

Important to Keep in Mind:

If your business is eligible, you should apply. The worst that could happen is you won’t get the grant, right? Here are a few important things to know:

  • The deadline (Friday, May 8th) is approaching quickly, so don’t delay.
  • The application will ask you to share your contact information, a brief summary of your business, and how you would use the cash grant.
  • In your application, you’ll be asked to explain “how you would use your grant funds to make an impact on your business or in your community. For example, you could use the grant to continue paying employees, or to provide critical services through pickup and delivery methods.”

As a small business that serves other small businesses, Tree Ring Digital knows what a tough time this is, and we’re here to help with your marketing needs – large or small. Let us know what we can do.
