The Center on Colfax is a collaborative leader that positively impacts the lived experience of LGBTQ+ people in Denver and Colorado. By creating inclusive programs and events, fostering connections, and leveraging the individual and collective strengths of the community, The Center engages, empowers, and advances the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer community of Colorado.

Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking (LCHT)
With a mission to inform social change that eliminates human exploitation by ending human trafficking, LCHT delivers anti-trafficking trainings, contributes data-driven insights to the broader anti-trafficking movement, and advances a comprehensive response. LCHT operates a 24/7 human trafficking hotline (call 866-455-5075 or text 720-999-9724) and offers a leadership development program that prepares human rights leaders and survivors with the knowledge, skills, and professional development opportunities necessary to contribut to the anti-trafficking movement.

A Precious Child
Provides opportunities and resources to Colorado children in need to empower them to their full potential. Envisioning a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community, A Precious Child provides services to disadvantaged children and families, connecting them with needed resources, services, opportunities, and educational support.

Urban Peak
Urban Peak ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives. By providing a full range of programs and services that help youth experiencing homelessness in the Denver-metro area puts them on a path toward self-sufficiency. Urban Peak’s vision is that all Colorado youth have safe housing, supportive relationships, and the opportunity for success.

Outdoor Mindset
Believing in the positive powers of the outdoors, Outdoor Mindset unites and empowers people affected by neurological challenges through a common passion. Exposure to the natural environment of the outdoors directly correlates to improved neuropsychological function and behavioral attitudes toward managing challenges in diagnosis. Outdoor Mindset strives to enhance the quality of life for people with neurological challenges through community, humor, and integrity.

The Food Bank of the Rockies
Since 1978, The Food Bank of the Rockies has ignited the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. As the largest hunger-relief organization in the Rocky Mountain region, theyput the power of community to work for neighbors in need. They distribute more than 1.5 million meals every week on average, but for those in need, they provide more than just food. The Food Bank of the Rockies give hope and open a future.

Denver Rescue Mission
Denver Rescue Mission has been a beacon of hope for the city’s most vulnerable since 1892. Serving as one of the oldest full-service charities in the Mile-High City, they’re dedicated to rescuing individuals from poverty and homelessness. Through comprehensive programs ranging from emergency services to long-term rehabilitation, Denver Rescue Mission transforms lives by meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Chispa Project
In Spanish, “chispa” means “spark,” which is exactly our goal:to inspire and empower Honduran students with access to books.
Chispa Project works to create school libraries and spark a passion for learning that will grow and be nurtured through a community driven approach. Since 2016, over 65,000 books have been delivered to more than 100 schools and organizations.
