How to Join a join.me Session
If we want a client to be able to view our screen (often used for training or to show examples of design and functionality), we will provide them with a code and ask them to join a session. All you need to do to join a join.me session is this:
- Type the provided code (ex: join.me/111-222-333) in the web address bar and hit enter.
That’s it! You should be able to view the meeting leader’s screen. The window can be sized down if you wish to take notes or access other windows at the same time.
How to Start a join.me Session
If we want to view a client’s screen (often used to address technical issues), we will ask them to open a session. Here’s how:
- Go to join.me
- Click Start Meeting
- When prompted to download, click Save File
- Open the downloaded file
- A meeting code will auto-generate in the pop up at the top of the screen (ex: join.me/111-222-333). Provide this code to the person you want to share your screen with.
- Click the screen icon to share your screen
And there you go; a free, simple way to screen share on the spot. With join.me, your client calls can be as clear and as helpful as possible.
